• We have established a Distance Learning Hotline. If your child's teacher or principal cannot answer your questions, you can call (401) 651-1901. If there is no answer, please leave a message and your call will be returned. You can also email questions to virtualinstruction@bsd-ri.net.

• In a distance learning environment, keeping a regular schedule can be useful. Strategies for student success are available on our website at www.bsd-ri.net.

Please be sure to reinforce to your children that these are not extended vacation days. Distance teaching and learning will be treated as normal school days. Students are expected to complete curriculum-aligned assignments, and we continue to have high expectations for all students.

Finally, be assured that we are all learning as we face this unprecedented challenge. We appreciate your patience and understanding. It is in these most challenging of times that we must take care of ourselves, take care of each other, and work together.
